Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ChiqLook, operated by PoseDraw Technologies Inc., a corporation based in Ontario, Canada ("PoseDraw", "we", "us"). By using ChiqLook you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use it.

Who can use ChiqLook

You must be at least 16. ChiqLook is currently available in the United States and Canada only. You need an account, which you create by signing in with Google or Apple, and you are responsible for what happens under it.

Your photos stay yours

You keep all rights to the photos you upload. You give us permission to store and process them to run ChiqLook for you: checking that photos are safe and suitable, generating outfit previews, and showing the results back to you. This includes sending photos to OpenAI for safety, person-photo and avatar moderation, and to Google, Fal or Replicate to generate outfit previews.

For a new account, we ask for your explicit permission for this third-party AI photo processing on the invite-code screen. The agreement box is separate and is not preselected. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account; you may also withdraw it by contacting us, although ChiqLook cannot provide its photo features without it.

We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not use them in marketing.

What you upload

Only upload photos you have the right to use. In practice that means photos of yourself. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission, and never photos of children.

Do not upload anything unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, or intended to impersonate someone. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break this, and we may use automated checks to help enforce it.

Your looks

The looks ChiqLook generates are produced by AI and are an approximation. They will not always be accurate about fit, colour, drape, size or how a garment really looks on you. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for a purchase.

You may use the looks you make personally, including sharing them. You are responsible for how you use them, particularly anywhere they might imply an endorsement by a brand.

Clothing and retailers

ChiqLook shows items from third-party retailers, including images and details from their pages. Those brands and retailers are not affiliated with us and do not endorse us. Prices, availability and product details come from them and may be wrong or out of date. Anything you buy is between you and the retailer.

Fair use of the service

Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, scrape it, resell it, or use it to build a competing product. There are daily limits on generation, and we may adjust them.

Cost

ChiqLook is currently free. If we introduce paid features we will say so clearly before you are charged, and these Terms will be updated.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings from your profile icon, then Delete account.

Deletion is permanent. The account cannot be restored. You can use the same email address to sign up again afterwards. Please be sure before you confirm.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, or where we are required to. What happens to your data in either case is described in the Privacy Policy.

Our stuff

The app, its design, and the ChiqLook name are ours. These Terms do not give you any right to use them beyond using the service as intended.

No warranty

ChiqLook is provided "as is". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the looks it generates will meet your expectations. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for purchases you make from retailers. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the app. Continuing to use ChiqLook after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Apple

If you use ChiqLook on an Apple device: these Terms are between you and PoseDraw, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support and is not responsible for the app or any claims relating to it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them.
